The Government of Spain conveys its deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and reiterates its support and full commitment to the fight against terrorism in any shape or form.
Spain recalls the urgency required to positively conclude negotiations headed up by the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General so that an agreement can be reached on a national unity government to recover political stability and effectively fight terrorist groups such as DAESH, as well as others that are taking advantage of the national crisis in Libya to their own ends.
