Spain positively assesses the efforts made to achieve this by the international community, particularly the United Nations and the European Union.
The Government of Spain trusts that this measure will be the first step towards the various political and social Yemeni players reaching an inclusive and lasting political solution that brings the present crisis to an end, guarantees unity, stability, independence and the territorial integrity of Yemen and allows the process of Yemeni democratic transition to be completed as soon as possible.
