The Government of Spain expresses its outright condemnation of this crime, all the more horrific since it was aimed at school-children. This attack strengthens our conviction of the need to make progress on international action at a global and common level and we offer our support in the fight against this blight in Pakistan. This attack shows the very worst face of mankind and demonstrates that the Islamic Jihad is a threat to all countries around the world and especially for those Muslim countries that are trying to make progress towards democracy.
The government expresses its solidarity with and support for the families and friends of the victims, and for the people and authorities of Pakistan at this time of immense pain.
