The Government of Spain very positively assesses the mediation of the Algerian Government and efforts of all the other countries in the region, along with international organisations that are supporting this process.
Spain reiterates its commitment to stability in Mali, where it is actively participating in the European Union support mission to help train the Malian army (EUTM), as well as its support for sovereignty, unity and the territorial integrity of the country, as expressed in United Nations Security Council Resolution 2164 (2014).
