For the Vice-President of the Government, this formula "is called on to play a more leading role", because it responds to a "suitable definition for modern society, through seeking swift but specialised solutions". Moreover, she valued the role of arbitration professionals and expressed her conviction that Spain will become "a headquarters of international arbitration at the same level as the most important headquarters around the world".

In this regard, arbitration can be considered as "one more element of competitiveness", she explained, since a swift resolution to a conflict against a backdrop of opening up trade overseas for our companies can become a "key element" in competitiveness and a "legal resolution export" factor.

The extension of the use of arbitration implies "a new culture of justice and ensuring that society perceives that in order to defend one's interest it is not obligatory to resort to courts and tribunals, but rather that there are other ways to obtain justice with binding rulings".
