Professional experience

  • National MP under 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Legislatures.
  • Councillor and Spokesperson for the People's Party Group in the Town Council of Sant Sadurní d´Anoia from 2003 to 2015.
  • Third Vice-President of the Board of the Lower House of Parliament during 10th Legislature.
  • Member of the Executive Committee of the People's Party for Catalonia and at a national level.
  • Practised law from 1997 to 2011, specialising in civil law, real estate law and family law.
  • Legal aid lawyer from 1997 to 2004. EU agriculture law programme from Università degli Studi di Ferrara (Italy).
  • Appointed as Minister for Health, Social Services and Equality on 4 November 2016.
